David gets sad on a train when he thinks about the topic of extraterrestrial life. They question why David is sad about this. His answer is how are you not sad. "Why is it any of your business" on the reason why the universe is expanding. The idea that the world around you is just beginning while you are getting older is quite depressing when you think about it. "the moon is just a dusty rock," the wonder if the rest of the universe is like that or popping with life. David visits his own professor, and they talk about extraterrestrial intelligence. We then go into a therapy lesson where a couple talks about their problems within their relationships. I feel excited about life beyond earth, I think that it is an amazing thing. The possibilities are endless. It is something to look forward to as our technology advances.
