Heyoon is a privately owned farm that was a getaway for these young adults. They would go there at least once a month a do things that aren't necessarily good things to do. It looks "alien or foreign." Multiple myths were to why heyoon was still standing. It created a secret world for these high school students. Even romantic relationships were started there. This is all about them. This place meant something to them which means, they are speaking from the heart. A research paper is written from credible information and statistics with little personal input. My "englishes" are nothing like Amy Tan's. I never seem to notice myself talking in certain way to certain people. The way her mother would talk was specific to their relationship. The way they would speak was unique in their own way. They used a certain language to build a bond between the two. Her husband never noticed a language switch even though there was one.
